Zirconia

Strength & Feel
The Gen4 chrome cobalt framework is so strong that it can be thinner on the tongue side, making it much more comfortable.
Zirconia is bulky on the tongue side because it has to be made that way for added strength.
Esthetics
The Gen4's PMMA teeth and the injection molded acrylic create beautiful, natural looking teeth and gum tissue.
The only way to make Zirconia more esthetic is to facially veneer it, which makes the Zirconia susceptible to chipping.
Adjustability
The Gen4 materials are adjustable if speech becomes an issue and air is escaping under the bridge or you’re having trouble cleaning under the bridge.
Zirconia cannot be modified once it’s processed. Any modification will lead to compromised strength.
Connections
The Gen4's PMMA teeth and the injection molded acrylic create beautiful, natural looking teeth and gum tissue.
The bond between these connectors and Zirconia is much weaker than the bond to chrome. These connectors come out at a much higher rate with Zirconia.
