Dr. Dennis Stiles, a native of Amherst, MA, has called upper Montgomery County, Maryland, home since 1986 after graduating from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry with his wife Marie in Gaithersburg, MD for over 30 years. Dr. Stiles is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Maryland Society of Sleep Medicine, and has received fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry.
He is a member and also served as past president of the American Prosthodontic Society and currently is serving as president of the APS Foundation. In 2009 Dr. Stiles was appointed to serve as a dean's faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he teaches graduate students in the Advanced Education General Dentistry department.
In his free time, Dr. Stiles enjoys photography, golf, hot yoga, fly-fishing, and skiing. In his community, he has served as a board member of the Kentlands Community Foundation and also as the president of the Archdiocese of the Washington Catholic School Board.
