Dr. Ramesh Kare has been working in the field of dentistry since 1987. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from Bapuji Dental College in Karnataka, India, in 1987 and then began serving as an Assistant Professor. In 1992, after receiving his Master’s degree in Prosthodontics, he started practicing prosthodontics and general dentistry in the Bahamas, before moving to Boston. He obtained his DMD in 1999 from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kare is a dedicated teacher and dental practitioner. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University for 8 years and was in the Faculty practice at BU. Dr. Kare has now been in private practice since 2001 in Lexington and Westford MA, in the Nashoba Valley Greater Boston Area.
Dr. Kare has always been committed to achieving excellence in his work by incorporating the latest techniques and knowledge gained from regular attendance of continuing education courses, seminars and study clubs. In 2009, he received his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and completed the Implant Prosthetic Course at Misch International Implant Institute.

Dr. Kare keeps current with all the latest in Dentistry by pursuing various professional activities. He demonstrates his passion for teaching by being a member of the Spear Educational Faculty Club, where he has completed extensive courses. Dr. Kare is the founder of the local Nashoba Valley Dental Study Club, established since 2012, where he brings and shares the latest techniques with his peers in the dental professional community around the Westford MA, Chelmsford MA, Littleton MA, Billerica MA, Lowell MA, and Lexington MA areas.
In his time away from the dental field, Dr. Kare is a devoted father and always enjoys spending time with his two sons and wife. He loves playing tennis, swimming and running, partaking in charitable events, walks and runs.
Dr. Beanland was raised in Massachusetts where he attended Merrimack College and received his B.A. in Biology in 1984. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned a degree in Dental Medicine in 1992, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Beanland continued his education and training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he received a degree in Medicine in 1995. He completed an internship in General Surgery during the following year at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Beanland then completed his surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998.
After completing his surgical training, Dr. Beanland served as a Major in the U.S. Army Dental Corps until 2003. He was the base Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Ft. Irwin, CA (Army National Training Center) for 3 years. He was then selected for a teaching position at Madigan Army Medical Center, Ft. Lewis, Washington where he was the assistant director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. Upon his honorable discharge in June of 2003, Dr. Beanland joined New England Oral Surgery Associates. Dr. Beanland earned specialty board status in 2000 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Beanland is an executive committee member of the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. As such, he is a member of the anesthesia subcommittee and is actively engaged in promoting safe office-based anesthesia techniques for patients.
Dr. Beanland has a special interest in outpatient pediatric anesthesia and surgery. His practice vision is to always provide comfortable, safe and advanced anesthesia options to his patients. His typical morning schedule involves several pediatric and adolescent surgeries with general anesthesia.
Dr. Beanland also has extensive experience with complex dental implant cases. These are often “Full or complete arch cases”. He has partnered with Hybridge Dental Implants to provide a more advanced and less costly full arch dental implant solution for his patients.
Other interests include wisdom teeth removal, jaw reconstruction, bone grafting, and the management of face and jaw trauma.
Dr. Beanland enjoys coastal Maine, sailing, skiing, and the outdoors with his wife Sarah and his children.
Dr. Vellis was raised in Brooklyn, NY where he attended Adelphi University and received a B.S. in Biology, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1996. He attended Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons graduating in 2000 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He was commissioned in the United States Navy Dental Corps as a Lieutenant and completed a General Practice Residency at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois. He completed a two year tour as Dental Department Head on the supply ship USS Detroit home ported in Earle NJ in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Dr. Vellis was selected by the Navy to attend an oral surgery training program. Dr. Vellis completed an advanced education training program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Minnesota in 2007. Upon completion of his training program, Dr. Vellis served as the oral surgeon on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower home ported in Norfolk, VA. He deployed once again in support of combat operations. In 2009, he was assigned as head of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the largest Navy dental clinic in the world in Norfolk VA. His assignment also included a staff appointment at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth where he was involved in resident education. He was then selected to the rank of Commander prior to his honorable discharge from the US Navy. Dr. Vellis joined New England Oral Surgery Associates in 2011.
Dr. Vellis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Dental Association. He has specific interests in pediatric anesthesia and surgery, implants, facial pain disorders, and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Vellis enjoys spending time with his wife Sonia and their twin boys.
